The CISPA-Stanford Center for Cybersecurity was established as a joint program by CISPA – Helmholtz Center for Information Security (former the Center for IT-Security, Privacy and Accountability at Saarland University) - and Stanford University in 2016 and is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

New Call for Application! Deadline for the next application round is December 31, 2019. Applications will be considered and screened August 2019 now on, i.e., submitting applications earlier than the deadline is encouraged.
With this call the CISPA-Stanford Center for Cybersecurity invites applications for its
Elite Research Career Program
The Elite Research Career Program intends to offer the very best postdoctoral cybersecurity researchers a unique career path at two of the leading cybersecurity institutes in the world.
The program begins with a preparatory 1-2-year postdoctoral phase (Phase P) at CISPA, followed by a 2-year appointment at Stanford University (Phase I) as a visiting assistant professor, and then a 3-year position at CISPA as a junior research group leader (Phase II). Applicants to the program must have completed an outstanding PhD and demonstrated their potential to become future leaders in their field of research.
