The CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information
Security provides a unique work environment that offers the advantages of a
university department and a research laboratory alike. As the latest member of
the Helmholtz Association, the largest research organization in Germany, CISPA
has embarked on a mission: to rethink the digitized world of the future from
the ground up and make it safer through innovative cutting-edge research. In
the medium term, the center will grow to more than 800 employees with 60
Faculty and research group leaders.
A new institutional cooperation between CISPA, Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) and the state of Lower Saxony was established recently and is physically located in Hannover.

The positions as research group leader are limited up to 5 years with a full-time contract. We are open to discuss during and after this period, with very successful candidates, further promotion options. Work location is Hannover, regular meetings will take place in Saarbrücken. Remuneration and benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD Bund). Remuneration will be in accordance with salary scale grades, up to the E15 grade depending on the candidate’s qualifications and responsibilities.
