Head of Scientific Recruiting (M/W/D)
Your responsibilities will include
Build up the Scientific Recruitment Department and develop a recruiting strategy for scientific staff at CISPA. You continously monitor scientific publications and the international labor market for cybersecurity research. You provide support to all relevant parties inside CISPA regarding scientific recruitment.
Get and stay in touch with the research community in computer science, cybersecurity, and related fields. You visit scientific conferences to identify future researchers and participate in various recruitment events, trade fairs and networking events.
Present CISPA and its research activities in front of an expert audience and the international keyplayers. You manage and establish formats and material to promote CISPA in the world.
Identify and attract talents at all levels and from all over the world. You travel to research institutions and conduct initial interviews with high potentials and assess their qualities.
Degree in IT Security or Computer Science desirable; alternatively any university degree with a major in Recruitment; doctorate is desirable
Confident appearance in the scientific environment (ideally computer-science related)
Several years of professional experience
Experience in headhunting is desirable
Strong service orientation
Cost awareness and responsible budget management
Engaging, self-assured, and professional appearance in the scientific community
Proficiency in common office applications and groupware solutions
Knowledge of the international academic job market
Ability to communicate confidently in English, fluent German is desirable
Flexibility and strong willingness to travel
Experience in dealing with different cultures
Self-confident demeanor interacting with Group Leaders and Faculty

At the end of this period there will be a possibility of a permanent position. Work location is not fixed, regular meetings will take place in Saarbrücken.
Remuneration and benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD Bund). Remuneration will be in accordance with salary scale grades, up to the E15 grade depending on the candidate’s qualifications and responsibilities. Preference will be given to disabled candidates who have equivalent qualifications.
